MeetUp for talents ready for exposure in Atlanta

CALLING ALL Atlanta Fashion, Film and Entertainment industry streetteam members including Models, Talents, Designers, Makeup artist, Writers, indie music & movie directors and producers, Rappers, singers and dancers, businesses looking for exposure, artist looking for distribution......EVERYBODY TRYING TO GAIN EXPOSURE!!
Out of a passionate belief that emerging creative talents in Atlanta need a platform for exposure and opportunities to showcase their work and make money we have created LANTAWOOD, Atlanta's own movie industry.
Just like in the last activity meeting held last weekend, we will look at or listen to actual projects that you wish to give exposure. We will discuss the options that are immediately available including media distribution by Lantawood Theaters Inc and exposure though LantawoodTV.com. We will also finalise arrangements with those that are ready for exposure.
We are seeking new faces that are committed to making thier dream come true.

At last week's Meetup, only 2 people came prepared and ready for exposure. Our member Bertha Henry came with an R&B artist and we had a rap artist from Aniston, Alabama who came an got a distribution deal. I had wished we had a designer in the Meetup for the opportunity of dressing these talents that we are settting up deals with. There really is something for everybody at this Meetup.

Film, Fashion and Entertainment Meetup formed in Atlanta

The original Atlanta Film Fashion and Entertainment Group was started out of a passionate belief that Atlanta's emerging creative talent both need and deserve more opportunities to develop in the fashion and entertainment industries. A few days ago, the group's original organizer "Queen Deva"vacated the post. As a member of this group Namso Akpan, CEO of Atlanta Filmworks Inc. I believed that this group was founded on the same sound principle of LANTAWOOD which is that of creating opportunities for all. "Because of my affiliation with the grassroot movie industry, I added Film to the original vision, said Namso, I removed the phrase "indie" from the original name because I don't see how we can be independents in LANTAWOOD. We are building our own movie industry."
This group is open to musicians, performers, designers, artists, and talented people in all creative disciplines of fashion and entertainment. According to Namso, "now we can use Lantawood Theaters and Lantawood TV as the vehicles to promote all these creative talents. Not only is this going to be a networking group but it's now also to be the "behind the scenes" ACTION GROUP.
The Next Meetup this Saturday December 16th apart from providing networking opportunities is reserved for ACTION. We are inviting only people that are ready to ACT NOW.
Musicians bring your ready to be released CDs, we need soundtracks to promote and CDs to release.
Fashion Designers bring actual samples you wish to promote. We have actors and models for you to dress.
Indie movie Producers bring your ready to release DVD, LANTAWOOD comes with it's own unique distribution system to put money in your pocket.
