Thanks for a Great Premiere of The Bluff and 11th Commandment

We thank all our members who came out to support the big screen premieres of "11th Commandment" and "The Bluff" last Saturday at Cinefe 8 Theater. Because of you and our numerous Lantawood supporters this event was a great success. I knew 11th Commandment was a good movie, judging by the audience reaction. I personally didn't expect the reaction "The Bluff" created. During the premiere, the theater was full of laughter and cheering, An unidentified lady after watching The Bluff was heard saying "I am from Chicago and I' ve never witnessed such vulgar lifestyle among young people. People in Chi-town need to see this"

The movie focuses attention on the ghetto-urban lifestyle as lived in The Bluff, an area less than 2 minutes from Georgia Dome, (same area that the 92 year old woman was shot by cops). Starring two upcoming rappers Terrence Wilkerson AKA Killa Rich who plays "Black" a talented rapper and Karvis Edwards AKA Lady K as his girlfriend "Keisha". Black invites the assistance of an acquaintance "Mike" (played by an upcoming model Rock Rogers Jr.) "to be his manager and make some money to invest in his talent". Through Keisha's connections with Mohammed the African, Black and Mike are given a credit line in the drug game. But Black has a different agenda. The Bluff exposes you to a ruthless mentality and lifestyle full of selfishness, rampant sex, drugs and guns.
What is most depressing is that there is a Bluff in every neighborhood. Not just between Simpson and Bankhead. After a production one day, Freemo (RIP) the actor who played "Mohammed the African" was actually gunned down right in front of his home. He lived in The Bluff.
Both movies (11th Commandment and The Bluff) will be available at Lantawood Theaters this weekend.
